Ugh. Not a good time to be riding trains around LA, I guess. More sad news for transit there. That's too bad because riding the rails is usually pretty safe and can be a great way to avoid commuting by car.
''We had an out-of-service bus turn in front of the train,'' said Marc Littman, another spokesman for the MTA, which operates both the train and the bus. ''We don't know who had the right of way.''
If the train is moving, doesn't it have the right of way? It's much easier to stop a bus than a moving train.
